BS SAND REPLACEMENT APPARATUS

STANDARDS:BS 1377:9,BS 1924:2

Used to determine the in-situ density of fine graned compacted soil.

The apparatus consists of:sａnd pouring cylinder with shutter made of cast aluminium and accurately machined,upper cylinder,metal tray with fixed centre hole for cone housing.

The cylinder is available with 100,150 and 200 mm diameter(Ø200 mm is recommended for coarse grained soil and gravel).
